What Is The Best Dry Dog Food?

I have a one year old 8 lb Papillon! He’s my whole world, i want a dry dog food that is has the best nutrition! So he can be healthy and happy forever! I want the best dog food that is out there! I have heard many different! Science Diet, Iams, Purina Pro Plan, etc.. I would appreciate a vet or vet tech’s expert opinion! But any opinions would be great! Thanks in advance!

My dog is 5 months old and is 55 lbs. so, our dogs are very different but I still want the best too. We feed him Canidae. I know it isn’t much help but I noticed a couple other answers include this as a choice, I am backing that up! It gets 5 stars on the web site that was posted by Lisa P. Also, we started him on Nutro Natural Choice/Ultra that one was on the Cara B post. He really liked that too, I don’t know why we switched, same quality better price?? Either one I would recommend! Hope this helps!

Dog Nutrition, What Do You Think?

I have 3 dogs, two Pit Bulls and a Poodle mix. Both of my Pitties have very sensitive stomachs and picky taste when it comes to dry dog food. After trying food after food we found that Alpo, come and get it is a food that they all like and they don’t get sick from. However, I would like them to have more protein and variety in their diet. I have been cooking for them now for two weeks and they seem to really like it Also, I noticed that my dog’s fur is much softer and shinier. Just wanted to see what everyone thinks of this meal plan.
Each dog gets 4C dry dog food with a half cup mixture of what I have made. I made 6 hard boiled eggs, peeled and minced. 1 1/2 C dry oatmeal. and 1/2C plain yogurt. Mixed together this made 6 total servings for them. This comes out to 10g protein on top of the 4 cups dry food.
I intend on switching the recipe every week. Such as substituting chicken, turkey or ground beef for the eggs and brown rice for the oatmeal. What do you think about this and do you have any recommendations?
