My vet wants to prescribe a course of Amitriptyline for my 14 month old Boston Terrier as she is so nervous and afraid of us & everything . We have had her for 9 months and she is still very afraid of us . ( We are her second owner & her first owner was very mean to her . ) Is this the same drug that is used in humans ? And is it safe for her to take this ?
