@tatomuck18 you are so cruel! how can you even THINK to do that? puppies arent for torturing! if you want to torture something that bad, then torture a doll or something! only really mean people say that. people without hearts or sense of right or wrong.
My parents wont let me get a dog but as soon as I move out I am rescuing a German Shepard for sure. Its so heartbreaking that people would even do this! Cats as well, I rescued a little terrified black kitten from the shelter a few months ago and after a few vet visits and lots of TLC she has turned into the greatest cat ever! She has so much personality and life!

I am soooo going to help and try to rescue dogs now. THey need help!!! We need more people to help by going against puppy mills.
I thank Oprah for using her forum to let people know about puppy mills but it bothers me that she doesn’t adopt any of her own dogs. She should set an example.

@xsunshyneeex I don’t really know for sure but I do know that if people stop buying puppies from the store it gives them no reason to keep breeding the dogs over and over- I’m sure it costs them some money to feed the mommies and daddies and if the puppies just get sent back to them or whatever then they will just lose money and have no reason to keep making more puppies. i do know there are tons of dogs at the shelter that could be killed if they aren’t adopted too!
@keeleypie So is that where they go? to the shelters, ’cause I was always worried that they killed the puppies they didn’t sell.
@xsunshyneeex if people stop buying puppies from pet stores those remaining puppies will probably be sent to a shelter and you can adopt them there instead of supporting cruel conditions. then once puppy store owners realize everyone is just going to the shelter, they will have no way to make money and will have no reason to order more puppies from a puppy mill.
